Anna Walker - 91 - Rahway
Rahway; ANNA (Kureczka) Walker of Rahway died Saturday February 2nd, 2019 at Riverton Nursing Home, Rahway. She was 91. Born in Greenpoint Brooklyn, Mrs. Walker resided in Rahway for most of her life.
Prior to her retirement many years ago she worked as a school crossing guard in Rahway for 20 years,
prior to that she worked in the Supply Dept. of RCA, Rahway 20 yrs. and worked as a Line Worker for 7 yrs
with Regina Corp., Rahway. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway. Anne was a member of it's Altar Rosary's Society, she was in the church's choir and she worked with Michael Kureczka Catering. Mrs. Walker was a nurses aid taking care of Wounded soldiers during WWII. Predeceased by her husband Charles 1996, her son Charles Jr. 2009, her daughter Cheryalanne Tokash 2017. Surviving are 1 granddaughter Jackie Vohol: 3 great grandchildren.

259 Elm Avenue, Rahway thence to St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway for a 10:00am funeral liturgy. Interment St, Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation Wednesday 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Phyllis Nicholas - 83 - Rahway
PHYILLIS (Wisniewski) NICHOLAS of Rahway died Sunday, January 20th, 2019 in her Home. She was 83.
Born in Shenanooah, PA she resided in Linden for 25 yrs. before moving to Rahway 30 yrs. ago. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper for 60 yrs. with several local companies last working for Carol's Reality in Rahway. Mrs Nicholas was a member of the Golden Age Club , Rahway and served as the past president and treasurer. She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Colonia. Predeceased by her husband William 2014. Surviving are 1 son Jeffrey and his wife Monica of Linden; 1 daughter Sherri Nicholas and her companion Ann Sheridan; 1 brother Wisniewski; 2 grandchildren Justin Velasquez and Maria Roche. Carol A Dudar - 83 - Edison
CAROL A DUDAR of Edison died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at The Woodlands Center, Plainfield. She was 83.
Born in Rahway, she resided in Edison for 57 years.
Prior to her retirement she worked in the Administration offices of the Woodbridge Adult Diagnostic Center in Woodbridge for several years. Former communicant of St. Mark's RC Church, Rahway. Carol was a avid bingo player. Predeceased by her husband Francis "Frank" Dudar 2005; her daughter Debbie Yatauro 1996; her son Mark 2014. Surviving are 2 grandchildren Ashley Ann and Dean Yatauro; several nieces and nephews.

Center, Edison with his family by his side. He was 24.
Born in India, he came to the US in 1996 and settled n Edison, moving to Fords 13 years ago. Member of the 1st Baptist Church, Rahway. Surviving are his Mother Niveditha Moses and her husband Junia; his father John Israel Pulkuri; 1 brother Joshua Moses; his maternal grandparents Gurudayal "Sam" & Elizabeth Meghadi; several aunts, Uncles and cousins. MARY ELLEN (Weber) BONDAR of Rahway died December 24th, 2018 at RWJUH at Rahway. She was 58. Born in Manhattan, NY, Mrs. Bondar was a life long resident of Rahway. She has been employeed with the Rahway Board of Education for the past 18 yrs. having several different positions lastly she was a secretary.
Mrs. Bondar was a Girl Scout leader of Troop 728, Rahway. Surviving are her husband of 35 yrs. Walter; 1 son Tyler; 1 daughter Melissa; 1 sister Beth Fries:

CARALYN K. WESLEY : Barnegat died Saturday December 22, 2018 at Southern Ocean County Medical Center, Manahawkin. She was 79. Born in Ellsworth, ME she resided in Lakewood, Browns Mills and then back to Ellsworth, ME. Mrs. Wesley was a US Navy Veteran.
Predeceased by her Husband 1994; a son Paul 1968 and a daughter Deborah Fraher 2005. Surviving are 1 son Mark; 1 daughter Jennifer; 2 sisters Maralyn Stevens and Annette Smith, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. ANASTASIA BETTY PREGO of the Colonia section of Woodbridge died Tuesday December 11, 2018 at
RWJUH @ Rahway. She was 83. Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Prego resided in Colonia for most of her life. She was a 1953 graduate of Battin High School, Elizabeth. Prior to her retirement in 1982 she worked for Able Metro Moving & Storage as a Bookkeeper in Linden for 5 years, and prior to that she was a Office Manager for AGA in Elizabeth for many years. Mrs. Prego was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway. Betty enjoyed going on day trips, also loved Flea Markets. Predeceased by her husband Anthony; 2 brothers Michael & Stephen Wolar; 1 sister Anne Barber.
Surviving are a daughter Andrea Kobelas and her husband Wayne; her Goddaughter Patricia Todd;
1 granddaughter Harlee; several Nieces & Nephews; and her dog Cocoa, and she was loved by many friends.

LINDA M. (Kolesar) FREEMAN passed away November 20th, 2018 at home. She was 54. Born in Rahway, Linda resided in Rahway for most of her life moving to Avenel 15 yrs. ago. Surviving are her 2 sons Mark A. Freeman and Jason J Freeman; her parents George & Elaine "Cookie" Kolesar; a sister Laurie Ann Huxford and her husband Robert; 3 grandchildren Georgia, Claire and Griffin; 2 nieces Megan & Carly Huxford.

EILEEN (Denburg) KUSNETZ of Monroe Twp. formerly of Rahway died Wednesday October 31, 2018 at RWJUH at New Brunswick. She was 85. Born in Newark she resided in Rahway for most of her life moving to Monroe Twp. to resided with her son Andy. Prior to her retirement she worked as a School Crossing Guard for the Rahway Board of Education for 35 yrs. working at the corner of St. George's Ave and central Avenue. She was a member of the Monroe Senior citizen group. Predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Kusnetz. Surviving are her son Andrew "Andy" Kusnetz; 2 grandchildren Sgt. Matthew Kusnetz
US Air Force and Marissa Kusnetz.

Doris Fitzgerald - 93 - Rahway
DORIS FITZGERALD 93 a life long resident of Rahway passed away on October 10th, 2018 at RWJUH @ Rahway after a courageous 2 year battle. Doris worked for Bell Atlantic for 30 yrs., retiring in 1985. She was predeceased by her parents Charles & Bessie Seaman and the love of her life husband William "Billy Fitz" after 23 yrs they are arm & arm again. Surviving are
her son Ted and his wife Susan, grandchildren Keith Fitzgerald, Katie Vieni and her husband Oscar, Laureen Costello and her husband Mike: Great Grandchildren Olivia and Alexandria Vieni and Aiden & Ryan Costello: a brother Merton Seaman: also by many nieces, Nephews
